The 23rd of February, SpainSIF presented its Strategic Plan 2010- 2012 , at the stock exchange building in Madrid, with the presence of the most relevant public and private institutions involved in the S.R.I. ,from Spain.
Antoni Ballabriga, president of SpainSIF; Robin Edme, vice-president of EuroSIF , and Juan José Barrera, General Manager of the Economy Department, presented the SpainSIF's strategic plan 2010-2012. The global aim is to increase the weight of S.R.I. products over the Spanish asset market.
The plan wants to stimulate new researches, education and networking to influence the S.R.I. programs with an independent and plural approach.
A specific objective for 2012 will be increasing the members of SpainSIF from 32 to 70.
As a relevant point of the presentation, SpainSIF announced its proposal about including the "comply or explain" rules to the S.R.I. principles, concerning the "Pension Plans and Pension Fund" Regulation in terms of the context of the new sustainable economy law project.
