The event will extend the current discussion on the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRSs). The debate will focus on questions like: How can the companies improve their procedures, processes, methodologies, and scenarios – from materiality assessment to managing and reporting on impacts, risks and opportunities? How does a company build its plan to be able to report on how its activity and value chain affect the environment and people, as well as how sustainability matters affect its cash flows, financial position, and financial performance? Last but not least we will touch upon the question how companies will be balancing the need for short-term financial performance against long-term sustainability?
