Simonetta Bono, Business Development Manager of Vigeo-EIRIS accompanied by Javier Garayoa, General Director of Spainsif, presented the report prepared by Vigeo-Eiris in cooperation with Morningstar on the green, social and ethical funds operating in Europe 2016.

The analysis was conducted in 21 countries of Europa. These are: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Norway, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

To produce the report has taken into account that the funds meet the following aspects: first, funds have to use an ethical, social or environmental analysis for selecting stocks and bonds. Secondly, they should be marketed as socially responsible investment products and, finally, they should be available to the public.

The report «Green, Social and Ethical Funds» has become a benchmark in the field of SRI in Europe. It began to be elaborated in 1999, being this edition the seventeenth.
